The Detroit Pistons have agreed to terms with former NBA All-Star guard, Joe Johnson. The deal is worth $2.6MM and has a guarantee of $220,000
The balance of the contract will become fully-guaranteed if Johnson, 38, manages to stay on the roster past January 7th of the coming league year.
Out of the NBA since the 2017-18 season, Johnson last played in the Big3 league (Ice Cube Founded It) and led his team to a championship this past season while also garnering league MVP honors.
The swingman has averaged 16.0 points in his 17 year NBA career.
The team intends to release forward Michael Beasley to make a roster spot for Johnson.
